Tiny wintery scene.

i really like these! so i made my own. with a jar, fluff, tiny deer and trees from the dollhouse section at a craft store, and hot glue gun.

pom poms

while mike is gone in germany and london for the next week, without me.. i have been doing lots of crafts. and making thousands of pom poms .. i made a few garlands and am working on a wreath. by the time he gets back our house will probably be filled. but thats just what happens when you get left alone to make things all day for ten days. and it's very easy to go pom pom crazy,especially because they're so easy to make .

yesterday i finished this cowl. it was really easy to crochet, and went fast using a bigger hook. it's big enought to pull up for a hood, and very cozy. which i like. i modified a pattern i got from

here.

i really cannot wait for christmas. i love fur. and these boots . i hope i can find a second hand lace up pair like them. soon.

back from vacation

well, i'm back from visiting my family in minnesota.. i had all these plans to do crafty things and sew the whole time, but i ended up mostly just reading instead. and i think i needed the rest from being out on tour,it felt very good. but i did get a few sewing patterns from my mom so i can keep learning after we get home at the end of the month.

today we're in mississippi on a day off, so i got out my crochet and made some little hair bows that i've been meaning to try for awhile.

and now i am going to go eat some burgers.
