tree

yesterday we found our perfect family tree. huge and blue and a little bit wild.  now it is living in our house, (and hopefully won't fall over the day after christmas and crush everything like last year.)

tonight we decorate!

  4. You look so adorable in that coat & those adorable mittens (did you crochet them yourself?!) I always love cutting down a tree and always used to as a child but haven't done it in a while..next year I will convince my boyfriend that it is a must! :) -Lo

  7. So, I'm in love with how great your photos look throughout your blog. What kind of camera do you have? Do you do any editing before posting? I'm trying to make my photos look this good, but my camera isn't that great, and I'm quite new to photoshop.

  9. thank you!
i have a nikon d40, which is a few years old. and i have a 35 mm 1.8 lens, and i edit my pictures in lightroom photo editing program, it's a pretty simple editing program. and i mostly try to take pictures in natural light, and lighten them up a little in the program. i hope that helps!
