on the north shore

Photos from our family trip on Lake Superior this September:
we stayed in Grand Marais and Beaver Bay, saw lighthouses and waterfalls, hiked, had a campfire, ate lotttts of really good food, had a baby shower for my sister and brother in law-who started foster parenting this fall, and Mike and I also celebrated our 5th anniversary while we were there.

MN in June

A few pictures from my trip to MN in June. I got to see my whole family, went on picnics with friends, read, went out to lunch with my mom like it was our job, went on some walks and a couple of runs, and cut out a bunch of squares for my quilt. It was a wonderful birthday month trip!

the farmer's market, the Candy Kitchen, alligator spotting at the wildlife refuge (we saw around 20!), Tybee Beach, Hilton Head Beach, Back in the Day Bakery, Leopold's, the Lucas Theatre, and Forsythe Park.
