kitchen

I like my kitchen! The chalkboard is up, I added a few new baskets and jars to organize things, and put my cookbooks out. It's bright and white and is a nice place to be in now.  This whole finally painting thing was a good idea.

fall

 it feels a little bit like fall around here..ok a tiny bit. at least when i'm inside i pretend it's all chilly and fally out and light candles and watch fall movies. today i watched the trouble with harry. it's a really pretty movie to watch, with all the colorful leaves. and shirley maclaine's cute pixie too.
i've also been decorating for the season. i made this crochet wreath i saw on good knits. it was really quick and simple, and i think it would be pretty in different colors for different seasons. i think i just might do that.

do you have any favorite fall or halloween movies to recommend? fall crafts?  i'd love to hear!

this and that

counting down the days to our family vacation in duluth next week! the whole family can make it this year,  yay!
