before and after: skirt


i found this floral skirt in our old dress up clothes box from when stacia and i were little. and thought,  i would wear this for reals if it wasn't almost floor length! so i decided to hem it.

here it is before:

and after! :































this was a really easy project. good for a beginner at sewing, which i am. just measure, pin, cut, fold over and iron the seam, sew, and bam,you have a new twirly skirt.

    happy accident i believe.
    such a lovely skirt..i have a huge pile of thrifted skirts i need to shorten but have no clue have to sew..haha. i need to figure it out.
