fall

it feels a little bit like fall around here..ok a tiny bit. at least when i'm inside i pretend it's all chilly and fally out and light candles and watch fall movies. today i watched the trouble with harry. it's a really pretty movie to watch, with all the colorful leaves. and shirley maclaine's cute pixie too.
i've also been decorating for the season. i made this crochet wreath i saw on good knits. it was really quick and simple, and i think it would be pretty in different colors for different seasons. i think i just might do that.

do you have any favorite fall or halloween movies to recommend? fall crafts?  i'd love to hear!

  1. Jane Eyre...

And what about a banner made with twine, mini clothespins and some real fall leaves?

  2. I don't think I have a favourite fall movie…I was wondering though what sort of sites you use to get free patterns from or if you just made them up out of your head?

  6. I always love Sleepy Hollow for late fall. It's moody and a bit spooky and very beautiful. Love the wreath as well!

  7. Such a cute wreath and I love your chalk board! I love making pumpkin scones! painting pumpkins in stead of carving them is fun and less messy (or at least less messy for me).
